CH Classicus Cassander JW ShCM, top quality with a lovely outline. So balanced & a very good front. Typical head. Very good width through the front, excellent ribbing. All of a piece & really filled my eye. Exceptional on the move. It would be disingenuous of me to pretend I did not recognise him. Dogs shown under me have to win on the day not on past reputation. I thought him excellent on the day. CC & BOB.

Glaister's, Ch Classicus Cassander JW ShCM, what a thrill to turn around & observe this stunning b/silver male walk into the ring, I absolutely love him, his outline & therefore his proportions are ideal. His head is long chiselled & displays a strong punishing underjaw, well set ears frame the face & enhance a stunning expression. Front & rear assemblies correspond, while he has the correct fill in of chest combined with a good forechest, well muscled throughout, no surprises on the move where he displays soundness, carriage & lightness of foot, a privilege to have the opportunity to judge him, as wonderful as I make him he nevertheless only beat his sire by the narrowest of margins. BD & BOB on route to a worthy BIS from a top class line up.
This was a really strong group with plenty of quality, some worthy specimens missed the cut but their virtues did not go unnoticed. GROUP 1 was the Saluki, CH Classicus Cassander JW ShCM, eye catching lad, totally harmonious, length to head with oval eye and typical steadfast expression, although masculine he portrayed elegance and class, his movement was poetry in motion, shown in tip top condition. BIS - The seven on parade all performed to full advantage making for a strong contest. After some deliberation I awarded the top honour to the Saluki CH Classicus Cassander JW ShCM, in my opinion he is masculine and conveys graceful lines. His effortless flowing movement really is a joy to behold and his deportment so impressive. |
